The founder and driving force behind Melville Communications, Victoria is the consummate PR professional with a proven track record of achieving outstanding results. For the past 20 years, Victoria has worked with high profile organisations and start-ups across the technology, B2B and B2C sectors in the UK and Europe, including Siemens, Philips, Kodak and Experian, to name a few. Prior to launching Melville Communications in 2008, she previously worked for PR agency Inferno where she was responsible for the Microsoft UK technology audience, creating strategies and campaigns for the Server, Developer, Enterprise and Partner Business Groups and leading several key launches such as Ready ‘05 and Heroes Happen Here ‘08. Victoria graduated with BA in Public Relations and Media Studies from Exeter University in 1997.
Nicola has over 15 years’ experience in Public Relations, working in a number of sectors including technology, business, education, property and healthcare. She is predominately B2B focused but has led consumer campaigns including product launches and transport initiatives with an end-user focus. She started her PR career as a Graduate Account Executive in London, where she cut her teeth in the PR industry. After four years in London, Nicola returned to the North East as an Account Manager and, over the course of the next four years, progressed to Director level. Nicola’s main strengths lie in her exceptional media relations and copywriting skills. She was shortlisted for PRCA National Communicator of the Year 2011 and won the CIPR Regional Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year in 2011. She is based in Newcastle.
Karolina Davison has an international background from working in Los Angeles, New York and London after leaving her native Sweden as a teenager. Following several years in marketing and communications on the agency-side and in-house, she served as PR manager for Guinness World Records in London prior to becoming an independent consultant in 2011. A keen writer, Karolina enjoys all aspects of public relations but is particularly fond of media relations and building excitement around our clients in the press. Karolina graduated with honours from Loyola Marymount University in 2001, with a BA in Business Administration, and at the top of her class from California State University, Northridge, with a Master’s degree in Mass Communication in 2007. She is bilingual in English and Swedish and fluent in French.
